An accessible kitchen and living renovation where independence and beautiful design work together.

Designed around the individual needs of its owner, 8 Bishop demonstrates that accessibility, independence and beautiful design should never be treated as competing priorities.

Working closely with the client, Earthborne By Design helped navigate the NDIS approval process before rethinking the kitchen and adjoining living spaces around accessibility and everyday ease.

Wheelchair clearances, accessible appliances, adaptable work surfaces and considered storage were integrated into the design from the outset, allowing the kitchen to support greater independence without feeling institutional.

The result is a calm, contemporary home where practical resolution sits quietly alongside warmth and beauty.
