A trusted-relationship renovation built around light, contemporary living and the client’s own stone.
Built on an established relationship and a high level of trust, the brief for this complete apartment renovation was deliberately simple: improve the spatial planning, create a light, bright and contemporary home, and incorporate the client’s much-loved Lorde White stone into the kitchen and laundry.
From there, the apartment was reconsidered as a whole, improving flow and connection while bringing together custom joinery, natural materials and a restrained palette. The kitchen, bathrooms, laundry and living spaces were resolved as one cohesive interior.
The result is contemporary and considered, but importantly, still feels like home.
